Constructive Conflict

Most of us are somewhat (or extremely!) conflict averse.  This is understandable.  Conflict is tough.  It can usher in 'undesirable emotions.' And yet conflict is an unavoidable aspect of life.  Conflict with our colleagues, with our family members and friends....even conflict within ourselves.  While we way wish to avoid it, often side-stepping conflict only escalates the tensions.  Managing conflict constructively is a skill we can cultivate.  In the process, we can see that facing conflict can actually bring benefits.

This workshop is geared at reframing conflict as an unavoidable and potentially positive experience, equipping you with necessary tools to help you achieve success.  We will look at differing communication styles, flexible approaches to conflict and emotional regulation as key factors determining the outcome to your engaging with conflict.
