Constructive Conflict

Constructive Conflict

Most of us are somewhat (or extremely!) conflict averse.  This is understandable.  Conflict is tough.  It can usher in 'undesirable emotions.' And yet conflict is an unavoidable aspect of life.  Conflict with our colleagues, with our family members and friends....even conflict within ourselves.  While we way wish to avoid it, often side-stepping conflict only escalates the tensions.  Managing conflict constructively is a skill we can cultivate.  In the process, we can see that facing conflict can actually bring benefits.

This workshop is geared at reframing conflict as an unavoidable and potentially positive experience, equipping you with necessary tools to help you achieve success.  We will look at differing communication styles, flexible approaches to conflict and emotional regulation as key factors determining the outcome to your engaging with conflict.

The Psychology of Money: An exploration of money, values & self-worth

At its most basic level, money is a medium for exchange.  Yet we ascribe many different meanings to it - security, power, love, comfort - the list goes on, and everyone's list is deeply personal.

Talking about money remains one of the great taboos.  But how can we move beyond our 'money issues' if we don't address this very important topic head-on? This experiential day is designed for participants to explore and reassess their relationship with money in order to make a change more in line with individual values and ideals.

The Psychology of Money

At its most basic level, money is a medium for exchange.  Yet we ascribe many different things to it – security, power, love, comfort – the list goes on, and everyone’s list is deeply personal.  We all have an emotional relationship with money, often a somewhat challenging one. We may find ourselves ‘slaves’ to money, organising our lives around making ever-more.  Or we may wonder why money never seems to come our way in sufficient amounts, suspecting that deep down we are not worthy of more.

Talking about money remains one of the great taboos.  But how can we move beyond our ‘money issues’ if we don’t address this very important topic head-on?  This experiential day is designed for participants to explore and reassess their relationship with money in order to make a change more in line with individual values and ideals.  For more information please contact kelly@w11coaching/07961840623.

Reconnecting in Relationship

Relationship is a timely subject.  We are living in a world where there is a deluge of communication – email, Facebook, Twitter, smart phones, of being constantly available – but there is little real connection.  And with this loss of connection comes a loss of intimate relationship.  We live estranged from others, from the world we live in, and worst of all from ourselves.

This first in a series of talks on the topic of relationship starts by investigating ‘what gets in the way’ when we think about our ability to connect with others.  For more information, please contact kelly@w11coaching.com / 07961840623

Wellbeing Wander in Hyde Park

In our present culture, silence is somewhat of an endangered species.  And yet the benefits have never been more needed, especially amidst the busyness of city living.  Join coach and psychotherapist Kelly Hearn as she leads a group walking meditation through some of the lesser-known parts of Hyde Park.  This is a time to slow down and enjoy one of London’s most beautiful settings while sharing group silence.  An opportunity to ‘check-out to check-in’ with ourselves and with nature.  This event is run in partnership with the Royal Parks Foundation and Yeotown.  For tickets please click here.
